Why study Philosophy at UBC Okanagan?
Philosophy is for everyone. On the one hand, you learn how to think by learning the basics of logic and critical thinking. Thanks to these skills, philosophy majors overperform on exams like the LSAT and GRE.
On the other hand, philosophy simply matters. Everyday, we seek to answer philosophical questions. What is knowledge and who is an expert? What is justice or a good life? Is AI a new form of consciousness or not?
Whatever your goals, philosophy can help.
